A Thousand Cranes is a music collaborative formed in Houston, Texas with a mutually agreed upon vision that they be grounded in the sacred, experimental, jazz, and noise influences they shared.  A Thousand Cranes set out to discover avenues to the induction of meditation as a means to pull their audiences into the vortex of shared human experience.
The members are revolving and include Travis Kerschen, Richie Durham, Mary Sharpe, Tyler Morris, Brian Harrison, Victoria Alberto, Charlotte Remmel, Don Walsh, Domokos, Adam Ferguson, Ellie Sequeira, Sarah J. Miller, Hoff, Brittney Chanel Walker, Toi, Ankah, Anthony Torres, Brandon Davis, Fil, Tex Kerschen, Shawn Rameshwar and Jason Hochman.

Houston filmmaker Eddie Shannon directed the music video for the A Thousand Cranes song “a san juda.” The song, which explores the culpability of each human (those in glass houses…) was a unique challenge for Mr. Shannon. How could he explore the human psyche to show the theme? He conferred with members of A Thousand Cranes, (Travis Kerschen, Danny Kerschen, Victoria Alberto, Richie Durham, and Brittney Walker) and came up with this brilliant solution:
